LS Central SaaS Course

Audience: Developers, consultants
Training prerequisites: A certification in CF-300 LS Central for retail - General Base Course is required. General understanding of SaaS, good knowledge of DD & Replication, working knowledge of Powershell & Update Services

Course objective

In this course, participants will learn how to implement and set up LS Central SaaS as well as LS Central Hybrid.

Participants will complete exercises such as:

  • Navigate through the Onboarding and Implementation Guide
  • Log in to Admin Center, manage support contact & assign an email address
  • Setting up of update schedule for environment
  • Creation of on-premise template database
  • Walkthrough on how to migrate an on-premise database to Cloud
  • Creating users/device IDs and assigning licenses
  • Installation of hardware stations
  • Installation of updated services and hybrid components

 

Participants will also learn about the key concepts of LS Central SaaS and how they can troubleshoot tenant issues. At the end of this course, participants should be able to set up, implement and operate the LS Central SaaS.

LS Central SaaS Course Certification

The LS Central SaaS Course Certification test is held at the end of the course for public/private sessions. For those that have taken the on-demand course, there is an associated test fee and specific test session dates are available on our training calendar.

The passing grade is 75%. The test assesses at an expertise level, and completing the course without the training success prerequisites can make it challenging to obtain a passing grade.

Preparation requirements

All participants must have the Virtual Machine (VM) from LS Retail Portal installed. If you cannot access the VM site, please contact academy@lsretail.com. 

Please make sure to have your current/updated developer license available on the VM.

All participants should be local administrators of the machines they use. Access to a wireless network and internet should be available.

This course is available through our on-demand learning system. This course can also be delivered as a private online/on-site course according to availability and terms & conditions. Pricing and duration may then be adjusted.
